Studio Policies & Guidelines

At CMH Pilates, my goal is to create a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable moving with purpose. These policies are designed to help classes run smoothly, maintain a safe and enjoyable space, and respect everyone's time.

By booking or participating in a class, private session, or studio service, clients acknowledge and agree to the applicable studio policies.

1. Booking, Cancellations & No-Shows

Because class space is limited, please cancel your reservation as soon as you know you will be unable to attend.

Cancellation Window

All group class cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled class time to avoid penalties.

Drop-Ins & Class Packs

  • Cancellations made at least 4 hours before class will result in the return of the applicable class credit to your account.

  • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before class, or failure to attend without canceling, will result in the loss of the class credit or payment used to reserve the class.

  • No additional cancellation fee will be charged.

Unlimited Members

  • Unlimited members must cancel at least 4 hours before class.

  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in temporary booking restrictions.

I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen. CMH Pilates reserves the right to waive cancellation penalties at its discretion when circumstances warrant.

2. Minimum Class Enrollment & Studio Cancellations

The same respect for your time goes both ways.

Group classes require a minimum of 3 registered participants to be held.

  • Morning classes: Minimum enrollment must be met by 8:00 PM the evening before class.

  • Evening classes: Minimum enrollment must be met by 12:00 PM the day of class.

If minimum enrollment has not been met by the applicable cutoff, CMH Pilates reserves the right to cancel the class.

Classes may also be canceled due to instructor illness, severe weather, building issues, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

When CMH Pilates cancels a class:

  • Clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible using the contact information associated with their account.

  • Drop-in and class pack clients will receive their applicable class credit back or an appropriate refund if a credit cannot be provided.

  • Unlimited members will not be charged a cancellation fee or penalized for the canceled class.

Once minimum enrollment has been met, additional reservations may be accepted until the regular booking cutoff, subject to available space.

3. Late Arrivals

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled class to allow time to get settled and prepare for movement.

For safety and to minimize interruptions, clients arriving more than 10 minutes after class begins may not be permitted to participate.

Clients who are unable to participate due to late arrival may be subject to the applicable late cancellation or no-show policy.

4. Class Packs & Memberships
  • Class packs and memberships are intended for individual use and may not be shared or transferred without prior approval.

  • Class pack expiration dates and membership billing terms are provided at the time of purchase.

  • Membership renewal, cancellation, and payment terms are governed by the conditions accepted at enrollment.

  • Promotional memberships and special offers may have additional terms and restrictions disclosed at the time of purchase.

5. Refunds & Transfers

All class purchases, class packs, memberships, and promotional offers are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except where otherwise stated or required by applicable law.

If CMH Pilates cancels a class, the applicable credit will be restored or an appropriate refund provided.

Special circumstances may be reviewed individually at the discretion of CMH Pilates.

6. Children & Kids Lounge

At CMH Pilates, I understand that finding time for yourself can be challenging when you have little ones. The Kids Lounge was created to give parents the opportunity to enjoy their Pilates practice while their children remain nearby in a designated, supervised space.

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for everyone, the following guidelines apply.

  • A maximum of 2 children per parent or guardian is permitted.

  • Kids Lounge capacity is limited to 4 children total per class.

  • Reservations must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled class time to allow adequate time for staffing and preparation.

  • Walk-in availability is not guaranteed.

  • Kids Lounge supervision is offered during designated classes.

If you need Kids Lounge services for a class that isn't designated, please message CMH Pilates privately to inquire about possible accommodations. Requests will be considered based on staffing and availability and are not guaranteed.

Potty Training Requirements

  • All children must be fully potty trained to use the Kids Lounge.

  • Children must be able to communicate their basic needs to the supervising attendant.

Supervision & Parent Responsibilities

  • A designated attendant will be onsite to supervise children during confirmed Kids Lounge reservations.

  • Supervision is provided to help ensure children remain safely within the designated lounge area, allowing all class participants to enjoy their sessions with minimal interruptions.

  • The Kids Lounge is not intended to operate as a full-service daycare.

  • Parents and guardians must remain onsite throughout the class and are responsible for their children's individual needs.

  • If a child requires assistance beyond the scope of lounge supervision, including toileting, behavioral concerns, or significant distress, the parent or guardian will be notified and may be asked to step away from class.

Lounge Etiquette & Safety

  • Children must remain in the designated Kids Lounge throughout the class.

  • Parents must inform the attendant of any relevant allergies, medical concerns, or special accommodations before class begins.

  • Children are expected to follow basic lounge rules and treat other children, the attendant, and studio property respectfully.

  • CMH Pilates reserves the right to discontinue lounge access if a child's needs or behavior cannot be safely accommodated within the supervision provided.

Kids Lounge Cancellations

Kids Lounge reservations canceled at least 4 hours before class are eligible for a refund or credit.

Cancellations made less than 4 hours before class, or failure to attend, will result in forfeiture of the Kids Lounge fee.

If CMH Pilates cancels the associated class or cannot provide the reserved supervision, the Kids Lounge fee will be refunded or credited in full.

My Goal

The CMH Pilates Kids Lounge is designed to create a positive experience for both parents and children. By providing a designated supervised space, my goal is to minimize class interruptions while giving parents the opportunity to focus on themselves and enjoy their movement practice.

A little time for you, with your little ones close by.

7. Studio Etiquette

CMH Pilates is a shared space, and everyone is expected to help maintain a welcoming, clean, and respectful environment.

  • Please silence phones during class and keep conversations to a minimum once instruction begins.

  • Please clean all equipment after use and return it to its designated area.

  • Notify the instructor if equipment is damaged or requires additional cleaning or attention.

  • Respect your instructor, fellow clients, and everyone's personal space.

  • Help maintain a positive, supportive, and judgment-free environment.

8. Health & Safety

Clients are responsible for informing the instructor of any injuries, pregnancy, physical limitations, recent procedures, or other circumstances that may affect their ability to participate safely.

Participation in Pilates and other fitness activities is voluntary. Clients should work within their individual abilities, listen to their bodies, and follow appropriate modifications.

If you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or unusual discomfort during class, please stop exercising and notify the instructor.

All participants must complete any required health questionnaire and liability waiver before participating.

9. Weather, Emergencies & Unexpected Closures

CMH Pilates reserves the right to cancel, delay, or modify classes due to severe weather, power outages, instructor illness, building issues, emergencies, or other circumstances outside the studio's reasonable control.

Clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

When CMH Pilates cancels a class, clients will not be penalized, and applicable class credits or refunds will be provided.

10. Policy Updates

As CMH Pilates grows, studio policies may occasionally need to be updated.

CMH Pilates reserves the right to modify these policies when necessary. Updated policies will be posted on the studio website, and clients will be notified of material changes before they take effect.

Thank you for helping me maintain a studio that is welcoming, respectful, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

Move with purpose. Live in peace.
